Last year I shared my love for the then-newly launched Liz Earle Cleanse & Glow Cleanser and it seems Liz Earle has gone and done it again, extending the glow-enhancing range to a three-product line-up with an exfoliating skin tonic and illuminating moisturiser!
For me, the Cleanse & Glow Cleanser marked a new, fresher vibe for Liz Earle and I had my fingers crossed that the range would be extended so I was thrilled at the news of the new Smooth & Glow Exfoliating Tonic; an everyday mild exfoliator that reveals ultra-smooth glowing skin, and possible star of the show Revitalise & Glow Illuminating Gel Moisturiser; a light gel cream that hydrates, smoothes and gives a dewy finish to the skin. This glow line-up is the perfect range to bring us into Spring/Summer and with the below 20% off discount it's the perfect time to refresh your skincare routine.

The Cleanser
Cleanse & Glow Transforming Gel Cleanser - £26.00
Described by Liz Earle as a cleanser to reveal luminous, glowing skin in just 30 seconds, this sweet bergamot-scented cleanser is the perfect go-to cleanser to melt away makeup and SPF after a long day. Gone are the days when you need a two-step cleansing routine and flannel when this thick gel cleanser can lift off and dissolve makeup and then simply turn into a milk formula when water is added. For me, this has been a game changer when it comes to how long I spend in the bathroom removing a full face of makeup as once water is added, the cleanser transforms into something much lighter that can be washed away with a few splashes of the face without any residue being left behind.
I also find the cleanser leaves my skin feeling fresh, hydrated and plump which is a perfect base for skincare to be applied to.
As for ingredients, the cleanser aims to brighten the skin with acerola cherry, a wonderful antioxidant that can contain up to 80 times the vitamin c of an orange in just a single cherry! The cleanser also contains organic black bee honey which is known for its soothing and balancing properties that I like to imagine is the reason for such silky happy skin after using the cleanser. And finally, elderberry oil which is rich in fatty acids to support the skin barrier and to keep the skin nourished.
If you are looking for the makeup-removing power of a balm cleanser without the faff and the risk of your pores being clogged then I would look no further than this cleanser.
The Skin Exfoliator
Smooth & Glow Exfoliating Tonic - £20.00
Next up in the Liz Earle glow-enhancing range is this wonderful everyday tonic that aims to gently exfoliate and brighten the skin. This mild exfoliator is great for anyone that's just starting out with liquid exfoliators or if you have stepped away from abrasive face scrubs but still want to keep the skin smooth and even. The tonic is also perfect for those with sensitive skin that want to avoid using harsher ingredients such as glycolic acid.
Gentle enough to be used day or night the liquid tonic is applied onto a cotton pad and gently swept over the skin or for a no-waste option, simply poured into the palm of the hands and pressed or patted into the skin.
Key ingredients within the tonic include prickly pear to exfoliate which has actually been shown to be as effective as glycolic acid in hydration and radiance. Along with acerola cherry to brighten the skin and sea buckthorn, which is rich in vitamin A and has brightening properties.
For me, this is an easy and effective way to exfoliate the skin on a daily basis making the most difference in how my makeup sits and lasts on my skin - no more foundation clinging to dry areas around the nose or blemishes. This really is the benefit of using a mild yet effective exfoliating skin tonic like this, skin not only feels much smoother than normal but with dead skin cells removed all other skincare products are able to penetrate more effectively and makeup not only looks better on the skin but lasts longer throughout the day.
While some may overlook the use of Liz Earle's Skin Tonics thinking of it as an unnecessary step, I truly believe it's a key part of how smooth and bright the skin can look.
The Moisturiser
Revitalise & Glow Illuminating Gel Moisturiser - £28.00
Last but certainly not least is possibly my new favourite product from Liz Earle as it's been such a treat to us both day and night for the past month. This light gel moisturiser provides the complexion with a long-lasting glow while hydrating and nourishing the skin.
The first thing that drew me to this moisturiser was the lightweight gel formula that left the skin instantly fresher feeling and plump; perfect for in the morning when the skin can feel sluggish. Secondly, the citrus scent which I wasn't expecting to love as much as I do; this really awakens the senses and feels beyond fresh to apply to the skin.
Ingredients include much of what is seen in the matching skin tonic; soothing prickly pear to exfoliate and add radiance, acerola cherry to brighten and sea buckthorn for that extra brightening and glow boost to the skin.
As for the results I have seen so far I obviously cannot pinpoint my clearer, brighten complexion down to a single product from the new range but the gel moisturiser I feel has made the biggest overall difference with my skin looking much more even and brighter without makeup, especially around my eyes, nose and chin. It's also a product I've really enjoyed applying both day and night due to the fresh citrusy scent and whipped cream texture that melts over the skin.
If you are looking for a glow-enhancing moisturiser that is effective yet light then I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
Liz Earle's Extended Refund Policy
This leads me nicely to Liz Earle's generous refund policy which is worth mentioning as they have an amazing expended 60-day window for both returns and refunds. So if for any reason a purchase is not suitable for use or you have tried it and not gotten on with it then this refund policy is great.
To summarise this is a wonderful skincare trio that can be used as a simple yet effective 3-step skincare routine or any one of these products could fit nicely within an existing routine for a Spring refresh.
Personally, my favourite product from the new Liz Earle line-up is the Revitalise & Glow Illuminating Gel Moisturiser as it ticks all the boxes when it comes to what I want from a face cream; a lightweight texture, hydration, nourishment and a good dose of antioxidants to brighten my skin. However, this is closely followed by my love of the Smooth & Glow Exfoliating Skin Tonic that while gentle on the skin really does exfoliate the skin well, leaving it smooth and clear.
If any of these products interest you be sure to use code 'NICEGLOW' at the Liz Earle checkout to get 20% off!

I often think the true measure of a good beauty product is if you continuously repurchase it. It’s a little harder with makeup products as they often take years to even ‘hit pan’ with, let alone fully use up. But with skincare, if you are using them daily, there’s the chance you may repurchase them several times within a year.
This is why I thought it was worth sharing the skincare products I cannot be without and repurchase without fail.
Unfortunately, there are a few categories I can’t cover such as face masks and cleansers as I have quite a wide range of choices so I like to rotate them, meaning it’s very rare I will come to the end of a product. However, there are still a lot of products I don’t own a bathroom cabinets worth of that I get through pretty regularly, for example, daily moisturiser and makeup remover.
These to me as the most solid product recommendations I can give as they have stood the test of time and as long as they are a fit for your own skin types I don’t see why you wouldn’t love them just as much! I really hope you find some gems here especially as most products here are on a budget and can be easily picked up.

Aldi is fast becoming my go-to for new makeup and skincare. It rivals quite a few larger beauty brands and it's very budget-friendly!
So I thought I'd talk through the newest Lacura launches as they have just dropped a new all-vegan range with prices starting from £1.99.

With the rise of liquid exfoliators (think the likes of Pixi Glow Tonic & Alpha-H Liquid Gold) there doesn't seem much room for the good old physical exfoliator anymore. But once there was and there's nothing like the physical act of massaging a grainy facial scrub over the skin for instantly smooth and buffed results.
I know while I like the effects of using an AHA-based toner at night, I kind of love the above mentioned instant gratification of a good face scrub but know now what feels like a good scrub and what is a good scrub for the skin are two different things. That's why I wanted to share a range of reliable facial exfoliators all with different 'intensities' that won't tear/damage the skin.

Over the past year the beauty and skincare range that is Lacura at Aldi has gone from strength to strength, expanding both their beauty & skincare ranges and coming out with many an exciting Special Buy that often sells out.
Known for their dupes Aldi launched Lacura Purifying Pink Clay Mask back in September 2018 (£5.99) to rival Sand&Sky Purifying Pink Clay Mask (£39.00), going on to bring out a matching pink clay scrub and pink clay hot cloth cleanser. This is a range you can still pick up in store (it can be hit & miss on stock levels) or buy online (links below) and as I've tried everything I thought it would be good to give an overview! Below you will find out my own thoughts, plus what is worth picking up from the range!

The other day while mentioned Pixi Wakeup Mist in this summer essentials blog post, I realised how much I enjoy a beauty mist. Whether it's glow enhancing, a setting spray, to cool down or even to keep blemishes at bay, I have a lot of mists that I LOVE!
That said a lot of mists don't offer that much so today I thought I would point you in the direction of ones that do deliver on what they say and are the best of the best I've come across so far!

Ever considered using certain products before bed so they work more efficiently? No, me neither, until I heard that you should apply dry shampoo before going to bed to wake up with grease-free locks come the morning. It makes sense!
But there are more products that work in a similar way, getting to work as you sleep so their job is done on rising, working even better than you had hoped and saving time in the morning. Genius!

Occasional hot days and week-long heat waves are on the horizon and with those kinds of days, I feel different products are necessary. From staple facial high SPF sunscreens to refreshing mists to hydrate throughout the day and of course handbag extras that will tackle midday face shine.

With the rise of the Instagram Skincare shelfies (yes, that's now a thing!) and influencers sharing what's in their obviously curated bathroom cabinets it's easy to think a good complexion comes only from more premium skincare products, shall we say.
But with drugstore brands constantly upping their game it literally couldn't be further from the truth. With the possible reason for a lack of cheaper skincare on social media being they just aren't as Instagram worthy! Budget skincare very much rivals more premium brands these days and while my own skincare routine consists of a mix of the both, I really believe you can achieve the complexion you want on any budget.
Below discover seven of the best budget skin care products for all skin types can enjoy! Let me know if you discover anything new or spot any old favourites.

If you have oily skin then you will know avoiding moisturiser is a no-no. Simply put, when the skin doesn't have adequate moisture levels sebum glands will produce more oil making your oily skin even oilier. But pick the wrong moisturiser and again you can be facing problems!
So as an oily girl myself I've taken the hard work out having tried and tested endless lightweight moisturisers suitable for oily skin to find the creme de la creme. From save to splurge I have all budgets covered so finding your possible ultimate face cream couldn't be easier!

Sunday Riley describes themselves as an advanced, high-performance skincare brand offering real and noticeable results - and I couldn't agree more. This is why I've been a fan of Sunday Riley since the first launch of Ceramic Slip Cleanser that recently got an upgrade both in formula and packaging.
That very cleanser made me realise that it was possible to balance out my oily skin, as I saw nearly instant results from it, and it without s doubt got me on a quest of changing up my skincare routine, introducing products that were effective at balancing serum production and keeping blemishes at bay long term.
For this reason along with lots of other skincare (obvs!) I've stuck with Sunday Riley ever since, enjoying their AHA treatments, cleansers and all-round approach to skincare. Below you will find the products that work best for oily and combination skin. All products mentioned along with the entire Sunday Riley range can be picked up throughout January with free worldwide shipping on Cult Beauty!

If you've heard of Alpha-H then it's more than likely you know about then due to Liquid Gold; their standout and bestselling Glycolic Acid-based treatment that's loved by many. But while I love the brand for that single product alone there are so many more products from Alpha-H worth trying.
So in collaboration with Cult Beauty as Alpha-H is CT's October Brand of the Month, meaning free worldwide delivery across the brand, I thought I would highlight the Alpha-H products that are ideal of anyone with a similar skin type to mine - oily, combination and blemish-prone.

When I first started blogging back in early 2010 dupes simply weren't a thing. The abbreviation possibly got uttered a few years later but for a long time it was more about finding cheaper alternatives to higher-end products - the keyword being alternatives!
Fast forward five years and beauty dupes are more mainstream than anyone could have imagined, allowing bargain shoppers like myself the freedom to experience high-end makeup and skincare at has prices.
And while I still don't know where I sit when it comes to brands copying packaging to grab the attention of their own customers, on the whole I absolutely love a good dupe!

When it comes to skincare it can be costly, which is why when it comes to the "extras" my skin doesn't necessarily need I prefer to save money.
This is where face mask dupes come in! Because in general, I believe whatever the cost of a face mask it always feels like a pampering treat but imagine one that actually costs very little but feels like a much more expensive face mask - it's a total win!
Below you will find more than enough face mask dupe suggestions that not only feel like the real deal but act it as well. I've also made sure that all skin types have been catered for, so you will find face mask dupes for hydrated, oily, sensitive skin and more here.

One of my most favourite topics to talk about that interests me greatly is skin. Problem skin, good skin, ageing skin (read: all skin), you name it. Give me an article about how the skin works or skincare in general and I will be reading it.
But while I like to read up whenever I can, I feel a more simplistic yet consistent approach to skin/skincare is what is generally required in order to obtain and maintain 'good skin.

Anti-inflammatory and calming in nature rose as an ingredient is often found in skincare for both the face and body. From rosewater based toners to luxury bath oils, rose based products can be found all over my bathroom so today I wanted to share five floral favourites with you.

While it's a fact everyone should have a good facial sunscreen in their skincare routine come rain or shine, wearing a daily SPF while trying to keep blemishes and oily skin at bay can be a challenge, to say the least.
But thankfully we are seeing more and more targeted facial sunscreens for different skincare concerns hitting the shelves. Which is why I wanted to share my own personal favourites with you that are perfect for oily/combination skin types.

There is no denying that sheet masks have taken the skincare world by storm in the past few years. Going from only Korean imports to making their way to the shelves of drugstores and being tried out by so many major skincare players.

As the seasons change so should a skincare routine but often a change is moisturiser and toner alone can be a costly affair. Thankfully, there are ways around this with skincare made affordable if you know the brands to opt for and where to look.
So today I'm sharing just that, with a lineup of five affordable skincare products perfect for any springtime routine for clear, fresh skin.
